At Vail, your privacy is our priority. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our dating application. Our commitment is to be transparent about our data practices and give you control over your information.

• Username, email address, and date of birth
• Profile photos and public/private photos
• Personal bio and search preferences
• Country and city of residence
• Gender, sexual orientation, and relationship goals
• Language preference

Technical information:

• Device token for push notifications (FCM)
• App usage data
• Subscription and payment information (processed by Google Play)

Verification:

• Selfie for facial verification (processed by Face++)
• We do not permanently store biometric data

3. How We Use Your Information

• Create and manage your user account
• Show your profile to compatible users
• Facilitate conversations and matches
• Send push notifications for messages and matches
• Verify your identity and prevent fraud
• Continuously improve our services
• Comply with legal obligations

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We only share data with:

• Supabase: Secure data storage and authentication
• Firebase: Push notifications and cloud services
• Face++: Facial verification (data not permanently stored)
• Google Play: Payment and subscription processing
• Competent authorities when required by law

5. Private Photos

Your private photos are only visible to users you explicitly authorize. You can revoke access at any time. We do not share your private photos with third parties.

6. Data Security

We protect your information with:

• SSL/TLS encryption on all communications
• Secure authentication with Supabase Auth
• Row Level Security (RLS) in our database
• Storage on secure, certified servers
• Restricted access to personal data

7. GPS & Location

We use your GPS only to verify your country of residence. We do not track your location in real time and do not share your exact location with other users. We only display your city in a general way.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access all your personal data
• Correct incorrect or outdated information
• Permanently delete your account and all your data
• Object to the processing of your data
• Data portability

9. Data Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete all your data within 30 days. Some data may be retained due to legal obligations.

10. Minors

Vail is strictly prohibited for users under 18 years of age. If we detect an underage account, it will be immediately deleted and we will notify the authorities if appropriate.

11. Incognito Mode

In incognito mode, your profile does not appear in other users' searches. This feature is available exclusively to Premium users.

12. International Transfers

Your data may be processed on servers located outside your country. We ensure that such transfers comply with applicable data protection standards.

13. Changes to This Policy

We will notify you of important changes to this policy through the application at least 30 days in advance.
